Your basic British pub food, nothing too exciting. But if you're in the mood for fish and chips, they can hook you up. They also have a good selection of British beers or ciders. And don't forget the lawn bowling, this would be fun in a group setting. I definitely recommend the roof top on a sunny day.

I purchased tickets for the Jingle Bar at Brits Pub. To be honest I had NO IDEA what the Jingle Bar was all about, I was offered the tickets since another event was cancelled so they were paid for- but I didn't look into the event. Parking was super easy, Likely only because it was a weekday - I can see it being a bit of an issue on the weekend, it's pretty limited if you're looking for close parking spots. Upon arriving I showed up and showed my tickets, the hostess may have been new, she wasn't quite sure- finally a nice man came up to assist and directed us "through them doors" where we headed to... upon opening the door I thought the Elf (costume and all) was going to tackle us "What are you doing here we have a show going on??" I was highly irritated and surprised that she was pretty rude but since we were late and she allowed us to enter in 20 minutes for the next show I was grateful. We went back out to the bar and got a cocktail - my step daughter loved the raspberry lemonade cocktail while I tried the orange expresso martini which was very bold as one might expect for an expresso martini, but it was good. This far the entire staff (other than the Elf) were So kind, bartender was great, waitresses attentive and kind. We finally got into the Jingle bar and it was so fun! Lisa the Elf had lightened up, I realized maybe I was interrupting Santa's show and she got upset at that (but I didn't interrupt in any way- wait staff were running in and out of this door so there) But it was a Christmas Wonderland! Music, laughter, good poutine & cute drinks! I was expecting more festive cups for the cocktails or sprinkles/candy canes/ fun whipped cream on them but the cocktails were delicious and that's what matters! We will go again next year for sure ... and won't get scolded now that I know what I'm in for.

My boyfriend and I looked up restaurants near the Orpheum theater after a show and this one was in walking distance. It was a very lovely walk and this is a nice location, I loved the 'pub' like exterior so you couldn't miss it! When we arrived it was quite busy, this was around 7:30 PM, and there was a 20 minute wait. Not too much room for any customers to wait except for the bar but we didn't mind. When our table was ready, the host brought us to the second story. I love the layout of this restaurant and the interior was filled with very nice pub memorabilia, however may not be the best for accessibility for some people. I was surprised there were not more TV's for sports watchers as some were turned off but it was a very cozy ambiance. Our server did seem to be quite busy with his section so when he came around we ordered everything all at once. I was a server before myself, so I don't mind that too much but for some it may be less attentive than they would prefer from a restaurant experience. The cocktails were very delicious, I do wish there was more selection from their menu but I was still able to find something fruity. I ordered the raspberry vodka lemonade and my partner ordered the Jameson ginger. They were both light and refreshing yet very tasty, however the Jameson ginger came with a 'dried' mint instead of fresh leaves so that was disappointing and not as appetizing. My partner ordered the Bangers and Mash and it was an 8/10, very good choice and I would select it again. I wish there was a bit more flavor in each element individually but eating everything together, it was quite nice. The appetizer sampler was a 9.5/10, everything was so fresh and delicious! The scotch eggs and macaroni bites were my favorite, the macaroni was the best 'fried' mac bites I have ever had. They were so gooey and melty, like a Velveeta kind of mac vibe. And scotch eggs are just amazing, very crispy outside and great sausage flavor. The sampler also included chicken tenders, which you can't really go wrong there, and the fried cod. The cod was just slightly too greasy and the tarter was more sour than I am use to. But overall amazing food, we will definitely be going back!

Love Brit's Pub !! This was our second time coming here and we had a great time! Super fun vibes with happy people, British pub decor and lots of TVs with soccer and other sports. The food is great! We had fish and chips, chips and curry, cheeseburgers and veggie Tikka masala Servers are friendly and share tips and recommendations. Drinks are good too! Definitely recommend coming here if you are in downtown Minneapolis or the area. I'll Be back for sure

Finally made it to Brit's pub, but only got to see the first floor. It was busy on a Saturday so we opted to sit at the bar to grab a drink and some food. Definitely giving pub with all the decorations and every game on. Would be the perfect spot on gameday. I ordered the Pimm's Cup and the Almond Crusted Walleye. This was a large piece of walleye and could easily be shared. the walleye was perfectly cooked and was great with the house tarter sauce. The rice and veggies were mediocre but it didn't matter since they weren't the star of the show.

Brit's is a nice little British Pub in the Nicolette neighborhood, that is a fun stop for a few drinks. The interior is decorated in lots of British imagery, including classic beer advertisements, the flags of the countries that were once colonies of Britain, and a huge wooden bar that looks like one you'd see in ye olde England in the early 1900s. Our server was great, and he joked around with us a little as we were trying to decide on our orders. They have a beer, wine, and cocktails menu that is quite extensive, so there is most likely something for everyone to try. I had the Summit EPA, which is an Extra Pale Ale. It was sort of similar to a red ale, like I had in Ireland - with a full body and heavier ABV (a little over 5%). One of these was enough for me, as I'm usually a light beer drinking girl, but they didn't have too many of those. We were only there for drinks, but they do have a full food menu that looked pretty tasty, so I will for sure be eating next time I'm there. With a lively atmosphere, Minnesotan/British Beer (as they had both), and great service, I'd definitely recommend popping in here and checking it out.

Great beer selection, lots of imports and domestics and especially British and other European beers. Lots of British food selections also. The burger I got was delicious! I wish the cheese was a tad bit more melted. The curry sauce I got on the side was also delicious, but wish there was more of that as well. I did forget to check my bill, but saw that a side of curry was $5. I sure hope that wasn't $5 worth of curry... nevertheless the fries were great and plentiful and my wife's wrap was huge and just as many if not more fries. She wasn't able to finish her food, and I couldn't even help her finish them all either. Super cool aesthetic inside with posters and banners and signs hanging everywhere. The waiter we had the first night we went was great. However, we returned just for some beers a couple nights later and it was abysmal to try and get anything. Only had 1 before deciding to just leave and go elsewhere.

A staple on Nicollet Ave. this place never disappoints. Known for their large crowds during sporting events, it could be difficult to find seating sometimes, so be prepared. Their roof top patio is definitely the place to hang out -- it makes you forget for a second that you're in the heart of Minneapolis. Come for the great selection of beer, stay for their pub food. We tried their Poutine for the first time and were very impressed. Comes with meaty seasoned fries, brown gravy, cheese curds, and crispy pork belly. Paired very well with our drinks on a hot Sunday afternoon.

I've visited Brit's a couple of times in the last couple of weeks - once for a happy hour and then today for a drink and app. Both times went well overall. We sat on the patio both times and did not play lawn bowling. We appreciated that they had the Olympics playing on one of the outdoor screens today. I've tried a traditional Pimm's Cup as well as a Strongbow. Both were refreshing in the best way. We tried a few apps during happy hour, which prompted me to swiftly order the poutine today. Between the quality of the fries, fresh cheese curds, dark gravy, and thick pieces of pork belly - we couldn't get enough. This place is one of my favorite rooftops to visit in the summer. It is a little awkward to figure out how to order/finding a server. Other than that, hats off!
